Dragonhart Staffing and Recruitment Inc. is applying for a funding opportunity through the Canadian Women’s Foundation Investment Readiness Program (IRP).

Dragonhart wants to be able to support healthcare professionals who are women of colour, immigrants, single moms, and other racialized and low-income communities and any women healthcare professional who requires assistance and we want to offer this through a funding program that will support transportation and childcare possibilities through collaboration with transportation companies, such as UBER and Child Care organizations, such as Network child care services. It will be for those who are not able to make it to work due to childcare constraints and the need for transport for their safety due to late-night shifts or last-minute call-ins or just that they cannot afford these needs. This initiative will support women in the healthcare workforce and allow them to aim for their economic potential. It will give them confidence and peace of mind that they have a resource that will help them accomplish their employment obligations.

Healthcare continues to be predominantly made up of women professionals. It is important to Dragonhart Staffing and Recruitment Inc. as an all-inclusive company to support immigrants with healthcare credentials in gaining workforce experience by allowing them to be employed.

The deadline for the submission is January 18, 2023, and we are working with a Grant writer.
