Joti Dhanju is the owner and operator of Tiffin - India’s Fresh Kitchen and Dhanju Foods. She was no stranger to the industry, previously owning Zaika Indian Bistro and Wine Bar - but she had a vision of reigniting the stagnant Indian food scene with a modern, fast-casual experience with high-quality and good value food with unique flavour profiles. Conscious of the amount of waste Tiffin, a takeout restaurant, could produce, Joti created Dhanju Foods in order to create a proprietary sustainable service-wear line made with renewable materials, commercially compostable materials and post-consumer material. Joti has expanded to 3 Tiffin locations, with franchise plans in the works.
