Agnès Mbome Moume

Agnès Mbome Moume is the Executive Director and Founder of Racine Croisée, an organization that promotes social justice in food supply and helps in the integration of different socio-cultural communities in Quebec and Canada. The organization provides food and integration programs, helps newcomers settle in, takes care of basic needs for the home, accompanies bureaucratic formalities, and distributes food baskets at a low price. Racine Croisée also assists in the professional and cultural social integration of newcomers by considering their ethnocultural specificities. The organization works towards combating social exclusion by providing direct food assistance and effectively equipping individuals in their integration process. Additionally, Racine Croisée aims to educate people on the values of inclusion, living together, equality, tolerance, and collective security. The organization participates in public initiatives, such as the departmental strategy for the integration and retention of immigrants and the Education 2030 Agenda.
