Aja Horsley

Aja is an environmental scientist turned entrepreneur who set out to raise bees after working as an urban agriculture researcher. She is the founder and “Queen Bee” of Drizzle Honey, a raw honey brand that supports both sustainability goals and small farms and beekeepers. Aja sources her honey from small Canadian producers who would otherwise struggle to compete with imported honey. She also raises funds for Pollinator Partnership, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of pollinators (including honeybees) and the ecosystems they sustain.
