Alyssa Bertram is the CEO and founder of easy period inc., an organic menstrual product manufacturer headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario. The company delivers organic cotton pads, tampons, and liners across North America. They also donate a portion of their profits to the ZanaAfrica Foundation, which provides pads and health education to girls in Kenya. Since founding easy period inc. in 2016, Alyssa has been focused on destigmatizing the conversations about menstruation and finding sustainable, safe ways to produce menstrual products. The company has been featured in Forbes for its innovative disruption of the menstruation market, recognizing Alyssa as an impactful social entrepreneur. While Alyssa continues to serve as the company’s CEO, she is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at The City College of New York.
