Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson is a self-taught designer and owner of the brand Nativelovenotes, which sells a range of products including stationery, jewelry, apparel, and more. She started her business in 2020, when she moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba to pursue a Master’s degree in Native Studies and wanted to spread joy and laughter in her community. Nativelovenotes features bold fonts, bright colors, nature motifs, and empowering messages, with a focus of spreading joy amongst its community. Amy opened a small storefront in Winnipeg and has since grown her business to ship worldwide, with dedicated customers in various countries. In 2022, she became the host of Pow Wow InstaPitch LIVE events and partnered with Pow Wow Pitch to motivate Indigenous entrepreneurs. She has a strong connection to her heritage and is dedicated to creating a welcoming space for her community. In 2021, Amy was awarded the Small Business Hero Prize by TELUS.
