Andria Barrett

Andria Barrett always wanted to be a public speaker. She would constantly reach out and apply to various agencies but rarely received a response. Concerned with the under-representation of diverse people at events like conferences, workshops, and galas, she decided to create an agency to represent BIPOC speakers. The Diversity Agency is a speakers bureau that specializes in representing diverse speakers and provides inclusion training and strategic consulting to companies that want to engage with and better understand Black communities. Today, along with Andria, the bureau consists of 15 diverse speakers who represent a wide variety of expertise including small-business advocacy for aspiring entrepreneurs. Andria has been named the 2022 Rotman Family Entrepreneur of the Year and looks forward to expanding the agency’s roster of speakers in the coming years.
