Barb Stegmann’s revolutionary vision was formed after her best friend – a soldier – was severely wounded in Afghanistan. On International Women’s Day 2010, she launched her perfume company, The 7 Virtues, in her garage. A decade later, The 7 Virtues is an award-winning supplier in Afghanistan, Haiti, and the Middle East – countries rebuilding after war or strife. A newsmaker, Stegemann has been celebrated in major media outlets around the world, including Vogue, Forbes, Elle Canada, The Globe and Mail, CBC, CNN, and more. In previous years, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by WXN and was also made the first female Honorary Colonel in the history of 14 Wing Greenwood base. As a keynote speaker, Stegemann has opened for Erin Brockovich and is often invited to moderate panels as a delegate with world leaders.
