On a trip to Italy in 2011, Denise first tasted high-quality extra virgin olive oil. From then on, Denise had a taste for the real deal. Her later travels solidified her interest, and Denise set out to learn all she could about the product. In 2015, she turned her passion into a second career by opening the Olive Oil Co, a tasting bar, in downtown Barrie. Denise brings her vast education in olive oil, vinegar, and food pairings to enrich the lives and palettes of the Barrie community.
