Chantale Alvaer

Chantale Alvaer is a Montreal-based teacher with a great passion for academic success. She is the founder and president of SOSprof, a tutoring service that offers one-on-one tutoring in Québec and Ontario. Her entrepreneurial journey began when she was teaching in the Commission scolaire de la Rivière-du-Nord and noticed a great demand for tutoring services. Chantale’s company believes that every student needs a reliable teacher, hence the name SOSprof. To ensure quality instruction, the company follows a strict set of criteria for tutors, such as a minimum of university credentials and experience working with youth. Chantale is a passionate advocate for education. In 2022, her name was listed amongst Evol’s 25 Leaders of Impact.
