Chelsah Thomas is the founder of Sol Invictus Energy Services, a residential energy solution company located in Red Deer, Alberta. With a passion for sustainable construction and renewable energy, she founded her social enterprise in 2016 after completing her Master’s in Environmental Management at Western State Colorado University, where she specialized in solar energy. Chelsah’s motivation to help others build better homes came from her own experience building Central Alberta’s first net zero, passive solar home with her husband Jesse. The company now serves Western Canada for residential energy efficiency needs and recently won Business of the Year for Young Entrepreneur awarded by the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce. Chelsah is a certified Energy Adviser through Natural Resources Canada, and her firm specializes in helping clients reach higher levels of performance through improved design and post-construction inspection, including net zero energy homes.
