Cheyanne-Sundance

Cheyenne Sundance

Cheyenne Sundance is an urban farmer and a community justice advocate. She started Sundance Harvest to provide youth who are marginalized within the food system with agricultural resources, knowledge and guidance to start their own food and land sovereignty movements and to create their own urban farming practices in order to eradicate institutionalized racism within the food system. Sundance Harvest runs a free urban agriculture mentorship program called Growing in the Margins, which nurtures and grows the farm projects of BIPOC, LGBTQ2S and youth with disabilities, from seed to harvest.
