Courtney S-B

Courtney S-B is an Indigenous goldsmith and beader based in Ottawa, Ontario. She runs a jewelry shop called Second Aura, which specializes in hand-making fine jewelry and restoring vintage heirlooms. Courtney created her company in 2016 with the goal of reconnecting with lost traditions and her relationship with her ancestral roots. She is of Pekuakamiulnuatsh and German descent. Her mixed heritage inspires inclusive pieces in her company, each of which is made with great care. Second Aura also seeks to reduce waste in its production process and donate its profits to various Indigenous organizations.
