Dawn Dierker is a seasoned professional with 17 years of experience in water and wastewater operations. She has held various positions at Class 4 water and wastewater treatment plants and laboratories. Prior to her work in the water and wastewater industry, she spent 12 years working for SaskPower in both operations and analytical chemistry labs. Dawn holds an Honours Diploma in Biological Sciences from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently the co-owner of Advanced Municipal Solutions (AMS) which provides water operation training to First Nations and municipalities. She is working towards developing a new, longer program with a combination of online and hands-on training to improve the retention of wastewater operators and improve water quality. In 2022, she was selected as a Woman of Distinction by YWCA Saskatoon.
