Fiona Lake Waslander

Fiona is the COO and co-founder of Skylight, a home renovation startup founded by former technology executives joined with professional architects, designers, and general contractors to streamline home improvement. Her company is using technology to radically improve the home renovation process. Despite being 8 months pregnant while raising seed money and closing the deal with a 10-month old infant, Fiona has successfully navigated the early stages of the startup by practicing restraint, resisting the urge to grow quickly while investment funds were in the bank until Skylight found its footing. Skylight now offers home renovation services in the San Francisco Bay area and in Toronto.
