Flavia Zhamo

Flavia Zhao is the founder of Everyday Chemist, a boutique cosmetic R&D and contract manufacturing studio based in Toronto. With her background as a poet and a daughter of a chemical engineer, she combines creativity and scientific knowledge to reimagine new solutions to old problems in the personal care, beauty, and pharmaceutical products industries. Everyday Chemist collaborates with founders and brands to provide end-to-end support for product development and is dedicated to delivering opportunities for businesses of all sizes to enter the beauty business through industry-low minimum orders and transparency in the process. Flavia is passionate about using human-centred design and lean data to create spaces, programs, and products that enhance the human experience, and is a dynamic thinker who thrives in managing cross-functional projects.
