Gloria, a professional florist, opened Beyond Flowers with her sister nearly 25 years ago. They have a retail storefront in Winnipeg in which customers are encouraged to explore flowers, and can arrange bouquets themselves or select stems for staff to arrange and hand-tie. They also provide floral arrangements for weddings, comprising about 40% of their business. Gloria has been a long-standing member of the Manitoba LGBT Chamber of Commerce and contributes to local queer and two-spirited events.
