Greg Mary Barry

Greg Mary Barry is a Syilx artist who creates cradleboards (also known as baby boards), which are common throughout Indigenous culture. She markets her cradleboards through her business, Cradleboard Designs, where she uses fabric, traditional buckskin, red willow boughs, and thin board. Greg caters to a large demand for cradleboards in her community, and she is inspired by how many people still abide by their traditions. For Greg, her business is not about making sales, but about contributing to a new life that is joining the world.
