Heather Ward

Heather Ward is a dynamic entrepreneur and creative strategist who co-founded Hyperion Global Energy, the world’s first industrial carbon recycling system. With a background in diverse fields such as marketing, advertising, and hospitality, she has a keen eye for identifying emerging trends and bringing people together to address them. As the President of Hyperion, she leverages cutting-edge technology to help companies “Clear the Air” and advance the circular economy. Hyperion Global Energy is based out of Invest Ottawa’s accelerator at Bayview Yards and has already secured seed funding of nearly $2 million. The company has tested its carbon recycling system at a major Canadian cement plant, which is designed to collect waste carbon dioxide and turn it into valuable materials. In addition to her work at Hyperion, Heather is also a participant in the RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator hosted by the MaRS Discovery District.
