Jacqueline LaRocque is the founder and principal of Compass Rose, a public affairs firm based in Ottawa. She is a Franco-Ontarian with over 25 years of experience in both official languages. Her expertise is in government relations, public affairs advocacy, strategic communications, media relations, public policy development, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. Before starting Compass Rose in 2015, Jacquie worked in the federal public service and as a director of communications in a national association, and she also served as the head of federal government affairs at GSK. Jacquie has been recognized as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women and has been on The Hill Times’ roster of Top 100 Lobbyists since 2007. Additionally, Jacquie is active in various charitable organizations and she is a founding member of the Women for Mental Health program at The Royal.
