Jaimie Davis

Jaimie Davis is an artist and business owner from the Gitx̱san & Nisga’a Nations, currently residing on Laxyuubm Ts’msyen – traditional Tsimshian territory (Terrace, BC). She belongs to the Laxskiik (eagle) Clan, Wilp (house) Sakhumhiigookh. Jaimie is the owner and creator of Jada Creations, which sells jewelry that showcases Jaimie’s culture. Her aim is to share her passion for storytelling through jewelry, especially stories from her ancestral roots. She is a graduate of Coast Mountain College’s Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art in Terrace, where she earned the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for her outstanding achievement in art and business studies. She is a recipient of the Best Solopreneur Award at the 2021 Small Business BC Awards, and Jada Creations was a semi-finalist in the 2021 British Columbia Pow Wow Pitch.
