Ilana Kadonoff

Ilana Kadonoff is the founder and President of Sweets from the Earth, a vegan bakery chain that supplies natural food stores, grocery stores, fine food stores, restaurants, and cafes across Canada, the USA, and the Middle East. Ilana has been a vegetarian since she was a child, and she transitioned to a vegan lifestyle when she moved to Toronto in 2002. In the same year, Ilana started Sweets of the Earth out of her basement, which she transformed into a small commercial kitchen. Since then, Ilana’s company has been met with growing demand, and now maintains two production facilities. In 2022, Sweets from the Earth was recognized in The Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies.
