Jessica Luongo, co-founder and director of AmoVino Distributors, developed an appetite for wine and wine culture while living in Italy and learning Italian. After returning home to Vancouver, she gained first-hand experience of the inner workings of the wine industry by working side-by-side with her grandfather at his agency. Today, Luongo has followed in her family’s footsteps by growing her company to represent some of B.C’s top-notch industry brands, including Kelowna’s Summerhill Pyramid Winery. She’s also made history as the youngest wine agent known to date within the B.C. area. As a trusted voice in her niche, Luongo has found a deeper need to advocate for small, family producers even as she continues to expand her influence in the world of wine distribution.
