JoAnn Fowler

JoAnn Fowler truly loves her work. A makeup artist in film and television for over 30 years, she has enjoyed professional recognition including an Emmy nomination and a Leo Award win. She founded Sappho after an actress asked for paraben-free products, and JoAnn could find none that worked on camera. Thus began a journey of developing products free of any known or suspected toxins, carcinogens, hormone disruptors and silicone, and pioneering “clean” cosmetics and packaging solutions to her fellow pro artists.
