Shashi Behl is on a quest to share the impactful and powerful stories of women everywhere. As the founder and CEO of Joy Drop, she delves into her passion as an entrepreneur and advocate for women in business by working with designers across the world, providing a platform to sell their crafts. From sunglasses and necklaces to earrings and fashionable accessories, Shashi business empowers jewelry designers and Canadian creatives. With four brick-and-mortar stores and partnership with over 75 designers, their products come from foreign countries such as Egypt and India, and domestically in Canada. Joy Drop is an entirely women-owned and operated business that fosters a sense of community for all its partners. Shashi is an accomplished serial entrepreneur having founded companies such as Twisted Goods, Fernweh, and served as a Board Chair with Alberta Women Entrepreneurs. In 2022, she was celebrated with the Independent Retail Ambassador of the Year Award at the Retailing Awards Conference and Gala.
