Livia Han

Livia Han is the co-founder of Compass, a platform that connects students to mental health and wellness resources based on their individual needs and identity. With mental health affecting everyone, Livia and her co-founder, Eve Staszczyszyn, saw a need to provide support for young people, during their time at the University of Ottawa. She created Compass to provide helpful resources and act as a mental health concierge for students. The platform partners with student unions and post-secondary institutions to provide access to various resources, including an assessment tool that matches individuals with the right type of support. Livia holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Management from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. In 2022, she won the SheBoot Pitch Competition recognizing Compass’s mission to create meaningful impact.
