Mary-Lobson

Mary Lobson

Mary Lobson is a gender-based violence advocate who has been working in the field for over 25 years. She is the creator of REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors), a simple and secure online platform for reporting sexual harassment, misconduct and assault that can be adapted for use across any sector or industry. Mary was inspired to create REES after connecting with survivors featured in the film “The Hunting Ground” and observing the gaps in reporting sexual violence on college campuses. Her goal with REES is to reduce barriers to reporting, create safe spaces for survivors, and increase reporting options in an effort to disrupt the current system and make a change in how society addresses sexual violence. The platform allows users to report anonymously, disclosing as much information as comfortable and transforming the reporting process at institutions and in the corporate environment. Mary has partnered with numerous academic institutions and has expanded her business into the U.S. market. Mary is an Activator at Coralus through her success in their venture program.
