Katie Gamble

Katie Gamble is the founder and CEO of Nature Bee Wraps, a business that provides natural and sustainable alternatives to plastic wrap. The business was started in 2018 as a final project at the end of Katie’s Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Victoria but quickly turned into a full-scale production. Nature Bee Wraps are handcrafted on the Vancouver Island and made from 100% cotton, locally-sourced beeswax, pine tree resin, and jojoba oil. The wraps serve as a fun way to keep food fresh and bring colours to your kitchen, while helping to reduce single-use plastic waste from contaminating the environment. The company prides itself on sustainability, community, and impact, and is a Canadian woman-run business. In 2022, Katie was awarded the Business Impact Award by Small Business BC.
