Stéphanie England is a young creative inventor who has been crafting practical gadgets, experimenting with electrical circuits, and building her guitars since she was a child. Music is a constant inspiration for her projects, and she has a passion for vintage sound devices. However, she found that these devices were often cumbersome and interfered with her work. To reconcile her passions, she began experimenting with wireless transmitters on the market but was unsatisfied with the sound quality and fluidity they provided. This inspired her to develop the E9 Audio, a small box that extends wireless Bluetooth connections to headphones, speakers, turntables, video game consoles, and musical instruments. The E9 Audio can also be paired with smartphones for hands-free calls. Stéphanie’s invention has attracted media attention and won the award for Technology Innovation at the Regional Défi OSEntreprendre.
