Palmer Dennison

Palmer Dennison, a marketing major graduate, started her own business, Palmer Events, which specializes in wedding planning. She never intended to be an entrepreneur like her father, but after working with a start-up business as a member of ConnexionWorks, she discovered her love for event planning, specifically wedding planning. Despite the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Palmer persevered and officially started her business in early December 2021. She focused all her efforts on building her business, successfully obtaining a business loan, and establishing her name as a reputable wedding planner. She also built a strong network of photographers, florists, and other vendors to fill her niche market. Palmer was awarded the 2022 Young Entrepreneur Award by the Saint John Chamber of Commerce.
