June Smith

June Smith is the CEO and Creative Director of Tajj Cosmetics, which makes beauty products for women of colour. The company was founded in 2008, when they innovated their first product called the Toeriffic Toe Concealer, which conceals discolouration on the feet caused by corns. June’s own experience with corns inspired her to start her business and develop their first product. Her business designs cosmetic products for every woman, especially women of colour. June has been recognized by a number of awards organizations and media outlets. Tajj Cosmetics was featured on the Marilyn Denis Show for Black History Month in 2020, and they were nominated for Cosmetic Brand of the Decade at the African Fashion Industry Awards in 2022.
