Muna Mohammed

Muna has always felt a connection to growing coffee. On a trip to her family’s coffee farm in Ethiopia, she learned about the complexities of coffee farming, and about the impact of the large producers down the supply chain to the farmer. As a result, Muna founded Eight50 Coffee, an ethically-sourced coffee brand headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. She offers a subscription-based service featuring high-quality single-sourced and blended coffees. Muna is also an active member of her community, volunteering with her local business community and in the nonprofit housing sector.
