Kathryn Corbiere

Kathryn Corbiere is the founder of One KWE, which means One Woman in Ojibwe. Located in the M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island, Kathryn’s studio creates metalworks – from art installations to furniture. After getting her welding certificate and failing to find work in the field, she pivoted to open her own business. She designs and makes all manner of custom metal fabrications, including custom parts and metal signs.
