Kelly Thomson, co-founder of QUIL, is revolutionising the e-commerce industry in Canada with a waste-free packaging solution. Together with her roommate Mehwish Panjwani, they founded the company in response to the growing demand for e-commerce packaging during the pandemic. QUIL’s reusable packaging is made from recycled non-woven polypropylene and is already used by brands like Prana Vida, Uncle Studios, Hernest Project, and Atelier B. Customers can select the option to receive the bags at checkout and the bags can be returned via any Canada Post mailbox using a prepaid label. QUIL has big plans for further redesigning the e-commerce channel and hopes to create a more efficient and environmentally friendly system for product returns and deliveries.
