Kelsie Young

Kelsie Young is a Mi’kmaw artist and owner of Dream Webs, a shop that makes dream catchers and other Indigenous spiritual tools. According to Kelsie, her business is a fusion of her education in Eastern healing with her Indigenous cultural roots. Her mission at Dream Webs is to help her customers sleep well and live better. She hand makes dream catchers in accordance with Mi’kmaq traditions, such as smudging each piece with medicines of sweetgrass, tobacco, cedar and sage at sunrise. Kelsie also offers Reiki Healing, chakra toning, and meditation coaching. In 2021, her business was among four finalists in the Atlantic Pow Wow Pitch.
