Sisters Justine and Kendall Barber are the designers and entrepreneurs behind Poppy Barley, a luxury shoe brand based in Alberta. They sought to design beautiful shoes and accessories without compromising ethical business practices. Justine and Kendall partnered with family-owned factories in Brazil and Mexico to produce small batches of their products. More recently, they’ve focused on sustainability, launching a line of goods made from plant-based leather as an alternative material to animal-sourced leather. Together, they’re helping fashion consumers across Canada look and feel good.
