Kristen Ip is the co-owner of Sunday Soy, a Vancouver-based candle company founded by Kristen and her sister, Brittany. The sisters’ passion for creative candle making and their love of Asian-inspired scents led them to create their own line of eco-friendly candles made from plant-based soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and reusable vessels. Their goal is to create captivating scents that spark conversation and bring new memories to life. Each candle is handcrafted in their small studio using a sustainable process to ensure quality and unique scents inspired by Asian desserts, such as Matcha Latte, Boba, and Mango Pudding. Kristen and her sister both noticed the potential demand for Asian candle scents based on popular cultural deserts.
