Laura Erickson

Laura Erickson is the co-owner and business development manager of Powerlink Electrical, a company based in Edmonton, Alberta. Since Laura and her partner started the company in 2016, Powerlink Electrical has provided electrical services and repair work in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and surrounding areas. The company is customer-oriented, adhering to their core values of honesty and reliability. Laura aims to use her position as a businesswoman in the electrical industry to empower other women to enter the trades. She is also an Indigenous entrepreneur, coming from the Métis First Nation. Her company is a certified Aboriginal business on the Native Women’s Association of Canada’s #BeTheDrum Indigenous Women’s Business Directory. She and her co-owner are also members of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, and they were featured in the September 2021 issue of Business in Edmonton.
