Lilia Fraser

Before opening up Pump House Brewery with her husband, Lilia Fraser worked as a secret police officer in Kazakhstan. At the time of the brewery’s launch, she had been in Canada for just two years. By 2005, Pump House had been named Brewery of the Year from the Canadian Brewing Awards. The popular Moncton brewery continued to expand over the next decade and a half, becoming the first microbrewery to run a winery and craft distillery. Their strong growth also led to a production facility, a taproom and fill station, and national distribution of their award-winning products. Some of the beers they opened up with remain popular to this day. In 2020, Fraser received the Top 50 CEO Award from Atlantic Business Magazine.
