Manon Barbeau is a Québécois filmmaker, director, and writer with a heart for cultural storytelling. In 2004, she was inspired to create Wapikoni Mobile, an organization that helps First Nations youth learn the art of filmmaking. Barbeau has over 30 years of experience working in film for several organizations, notably Télé-Québec and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Over the years, Barbeau has written hundreds of television scenarios and produced over a dozen feature films that have received awards.
