Margaret Adu

Margaret Adu

When Margaret Adu first arrived in Canada from Ghana, she quite literally knocked down doors before landing her first architecture job. Today in her role as founder and managing director of Aomega Group Inc., Adu oversees the operation of personal care homes in Calgary, all equipped with 24/7 staff. Adu’s exemplary vision combines both architecture and healthcare so that residents can lead more full and independent lifestyles. Aside from her leadership at Aomega, Adu is a trailblazing community leader who serves as the President of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Calgary and President of the Personal Care Homes Council of Calgary. In 2010, Adu received the Ghanaian Canadian Achievement Award for Community Service.
