Mayam Asmat

Maryam Asmat is the founder of HouseCook, a food delivery service that provides fresh, delicious, and good quality Pakistani-Indian weekly halal food delivery. The food is health-focused and cooked using minimal oil and without any artificial ingredients. Maryam grew up in Lahore, Pakistan and immigrated to Canada with her family at a young age. She graduated from Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance. Her passion for food comes from her mother’s love for cooking. Maryam decided to support her mother’s dream of becoming a chef and started HouseCook, delivering the food herself in Toronto. With the help of her family, HouseCook has expanded and now delivers to multiple cities in Ontario. The goal of HouseCook is to continue serving people fresh and delicious homestyle food and to give back to the community.
