Michelle Tran

Michelle Tran first stepped into the beauty business by making some cash doing nails for other girls before prom. Today, Tran is the co-founder of Meraki Beauty Bar, a one-stop beauty shop in Burnaby, B.C. Meraki Beauty Bar – which Tran founded with her sister, Jenny, in 2016 – now has more than 300 five-star reviews and has won Burnaby Now’s Best Lash Care and Best Brow Bar awards. The company now has a team of 21 aestheticians. Tran has also started an education program to support students seeking post-graduation guidance. Her vision for Meraki is to expand into Southeast Asia. In 2020, Tran was featured on the 30 Under 30 list by BC Business.
