Mild Rungmongkonsawad

Mild, a self-described foodie, has a love for all things food. Thai Roots Trading was started from her love of Thai food. On trips home, she would bring back products to share with friends and family. Unable to find the products she loved locally, she set out to import them herself. She found early success with panda chips, earning a national distribution deal with Whole Foods. Mild has navigated import regulations to source a range of Thai specialties, selling online to reduce overhead costs. Mild also realized her dream of opening a restaurant, Wela Progressive Health Bar, which sells health-focused food with Thai flare.
