Olivia Norton

Olivia Norton is the co-founder and CTO of Sanctuary AI, a spinoff of robot developer Kindred Systems Inc.’s artificial general intelligence division. Sanctuary AI has the ambitious goal to create synthetic humans that are indistinguishable from us. Olivia has a background in computer engineering with a specialization in biomedical engineering. While completing her master of engineering in electrical and computer engineering at UBC, Olivia was hired by Kindred, where she led the development of an AI system that can enable machines from full-sized humanoid robots to kitten-sized quadrupeds to learn complex tasks.
