Paola Silk

Born and raised in Mexico City, Paola became interested in fashion both at home and around the world. Her interest led her to learn more about fashion sustainability and the importance of fair trade practices. She is the founder and Head of Sustainability at Shilango, an authentic Mexican fashion company for Canadian women, rooted in traditional artisanal practices, Mexican culture, and ethical trade. Paola employs newcomers to Canada and offers women a unique fashion choice that they can also feel good about.
