Patricia Thaine is the Co-Founder and CEO of Private AI, a company specializing in privacy-preserving machine learning and natural language processing solutions. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Toronto and an alumna of the Vector Institute, with research focused on privacy-preserving NLP, applied cryptography, and re-identification risk. She is a recipient of the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship, the RBC Graduate Fellowship, and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and is a co-inventor on a U.S. patent in her field.
