Paula Shyba

Paula Shyba is the co-founder and Marketing Director of Kind Ice Cream, a business that makes handmade small-batch ice cream using exceptional ingredients in Edmonton, Alberta. Kind Ice Cream’s goal is to use the best locally-sourced ingredients in their ice cream. They offer a wide selection of ice creams including dairy-free ice cream made with house-made cashew milk, coconut cream, and cocoa butter. The business is also on a mission to promote environmental sustainability by using compostable cups, spoons, and napkins. Paula co-founded Kind Ice Cream in 2018 with her sister-in-law Candyce Morris and her wife Nicole Bhar. She started other businesses before Kind Ice Cream, including a small film-making business called Arrow Films and a photobooth business called Neat Photo Booth.
