Sabine Weber

Before coming to Canada, Sabine Weber worked for nearly 20 years within Europe’s fashion industry. In December 2015, she founded Sustainable Strategies and Solutions, where she tackles different consulting projects. One of her top projects in 2016 was the Tip of the Iceberg Textile Diversion Symposium in Markham. In the year following, Weber conducted a social marketing campaign for textile diversion at Seneca College. Weber is a prominent speaker, writer and thought leader who has been published for her views on ethical and sustainable fashion in the World Review of Science, Technology and Sustainable Development, and the Alternative Journal. Currently, she teaches at Seneca in the fashion program while continually developing projects related to textile waste.
