Jennifer Nashmi

Victoria Sopik and Jennifer Nashmi are the Co-founders of Kids & Company. Victoria is a recognized expert in the child care field with almost 30 years of experience, while Jennifer Nashmi is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of business experience. They started Kids & Company in 2002, and aimed to disrupt the traditional way childcare had been offered by launching as an emergency back-up centre. Importantly, rather than working directly with parents they partner with organizations, positioning corporate-sponsored childcare as a unique employee benefit that can assist with recruiting and retention, as well as reduce unexpected absences. Victoria and Jennifer were the Winners of the Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship at the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.
